All of the above is achieved through building low cost protected agriculture houses which are fitted with devices which take real-time readings which are fed into a control system that adjusts the soil moisture, temperature, foggers and exhaust fan to provide the best conditions for mushroom cultivation. All of these systems can be monitored through a local language based app (mAgri).

Through this system the user is able to use the provided features to unlock a world of potential in the field of mushroom farming, these provided features are,

 

Automation:    

 

This feature allows for, the functions of the protected house, fan, drip systems, and fan pad to become completely automated. Watering, fertigation, temperature, and humidity will also be automated so these factors can be managed accurately and efficiently.

 

Remote monitoring:

 

All data which is recorded by the sensors within the protected house can be monitored through the mobile app (mAgri), and the real-time readings can be monitored from anywhere with the facility of internet access.

 

Remote controlling:

 

This feature will facilitate the user with the ability to control their mushroom house from anywhere with internet access

 

SMS alert and notification:

 

The farmer/user of the device will receive an automatic SMS update on the current status of their protected houses.

Currently, SARU offers 2 types of mushroom house automation kits that are suitable for both small-scale and large-scale mushroom houses.

 

Sub product 1 – PLANT BEAT ultra

 

This sensor kit is best suited for large scale mushroom houses and includes a host of features which allow the user to control up to 3 separate mushroom rooms simultaneously. The sensor kit comes with,

 

    1. Gateway unit
    2. Temperature sensor
    3. Humidity sensor
    4. Misting system which is custom recommended for the user’s mushroom house

 

This Gateway Unit allows for up to 3 misting systems to be connected through the ports (230V/13A). It also has a colour LCD display which shows sensor values, data and actuator (with ON and OFF states).

 

Sub product 2 – PLANT BEAT mini

 

This sensor kit is most suitable for a small scale mushroom house, and it includes,

 

  1. Gateway unit
  2. Temperature sensor
  3. Humidity sensor
  4. Misting system which is custom recommended for the user’s mushroom house

The Gateway Unit can control one mushroom room and there are 2 ports (230V/13A) to which the misting system and the fans can be connected (fan not included). The Gateway Unit also features LED indicators which will indicate the power and signal status.
